Zombeetle

What’s the news we’re gaming? Every year the Royal Society has a Summer Science exhibition where the public can come and look at cutting edge science. We worked with Bristol University to turn thier exhbition about where fossils get their colour from into a game! Zombeetle & The Fossil Colour Quest is a game about how fossil colours survives for millions of years. Once dead an animal’s body can fossilise. The colour of the fossil depends on the time, pressure and heat it is exposed to. It’s a platform game that runs using the Unity Web Player (free to download).
Original idea and science by Maria McNamara of Bristol University.
